Senior Mechatronics Engineer

I'm looking to connect with experienced Mechatronics Engineers who enjoy operating at the intersection of mechanical and electronic engineering. I'm currently assisting an international technology and product development company that designs, develops, and manufactures advanced electro-mechanical solutions for clients across global industries. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through to deployment while working on innovative products that combine mechanical design, electronics, embedded systems, and manufacturing principles. Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Lead the design and development of electro-mechanical products and systems

• Design mechanical assemblies and production-ready solutions using SolidWorks

• Develop and improve products from concept through manufacturing and implementation

• Support electronics integration, sensors, embedded systems, and control technologies

• Oversee prototyping, testing, validation, and product improvement activities

• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide engineering guidance

• Develop technical documentation, engineering drawings, and product specifications

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of Mechatronics or Product Development Engineering experience

• Strong SolidWorks design experience is essential

• Experience with mechanical design, assemblies, and manufacturing processes

• Knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, and sensor integration

• Experience working across both mechanical and electronic engineering disciplines

• Strong understanding of the complete product development lifecycle

• Experience with prototyping, testing, and product validation

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualification

• BEng or BSc in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar
