- Lead cross-functional initiatives to accelerate time to market of new products
- Manage and oversee the launch portfolio, ensuring prioritisation of initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
- Analyse and improve existing processes and ways of work to remove bottlenecks and barriers to success, promote timely decision-making, and increase overall process efficiency and speed
- Develop and maintain trackers and executive reporting mechanisms.
- Strengthen governance efficiency through standardised processes and accountability frameworks.
Integrated Launch Planning: Cross-functional collaboration
- Coordination, knowledge and influence spanning cross-functionally: Regulatory activities, manufacturing readiness, market access, Supply Chain, Quality, and commercial execution.
- Ensure alignment, accountability and ownership of deliverables across workstreams.
- Manage dependencies between functional teams and drive resolution of barriers to progress.
Critical Path & Timeline Management
- Drive initiatives to compress timelines where feasible without compromising quality or compliance.
- Improve milestone predictability and overall launch cycle time.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Ensure unresolved high-impact risks are escalated.
Process Improvement & Launch Excellence
- Develop, standardise and continuously improve launch methodologies, templates and governance frameworks.
- Establish repeatable launch processes that support scalability and efficiency.
- Capture lessons learned and maintain a launch excellence repository.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve launch predictability, performance and outcomes.
Requirements
PRE-REQUISITES
Education
- Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Degree or Master's Degree in project management or a related field.
- Proven track record in Project Management Office PMO leadership and governance.
Experience
- 5 – 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in pharmaceutical product lifecycle management.
- Experience in cross-functional programme leadership and launch execution.
- Strong exposure to regulatory, supply chain, commercial and operational functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience managing complex portfolios, governance structures and strategic programmes.
