- Aligning functional areas to the broader divisional objectives.
- Prepares capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
- Establish a framework of environmental regulatory tools for the assessment and mitigation of development impacts on sensitive biodiversity assets.
- Disseminates strategic and functional information to clearly defined audiences on the immediate, short and long term objectives and current applications and constraints.
- Controls and executes actions to address administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality.

Qualifications Essential Requirements:
- Master of Science Degree NQF Level 9 in Biological or Ecological or Environmental Sciences or Management.
- Registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions SACNASP as a Professional Natural Scientist Pr.Sci.Nat.
- Registered with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa EAPASA as a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner EAP.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license
- 7 years relevant experience in environmental assessment, review of environmental impact assessment reports, environmental compliance monitoring and enforcement experience.
- Computer Literacy.
