- Computational economics and Finance using R Studio
- Financial engineering option pricing and portfolio optimization
- Applied econometrics and machine learning in R
- Environmental economics and policy
- Reproducible research and advanced statistical modelling
- Teaching responsibilities will include teaching Coding for Economics and Finance R Studio–Centered and Environmental Economics
Brief Description The successful applicant will also be expected to:
- Actively participate in research
- Teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Supervise Postgraduate research
- Participate actively in the running of the School through administration and academic citizenship activities.
Minimum Requirements
- A PhD in Economics/ Finance/ Econometrics/ or a closely related discipline
- Coursework Masters degree in one of the above fields
- Demonstrated teaching experience in quantitative/environmental economics, financial modelling, or/and coding for finance using R
- Evidence of peer-reviewed research publications in Q1/Q2 journals
- Experience in postgraduate supervision or readiness to supervise as indicated through publications
