Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications
Build responsive and user-friendly front-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and other Developers
Translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable technical solutions
Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues
Optimise application performance, scalability, and security
Participate in architectural planning and technical design discussions
Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development processes
Implement automated testing and support CI/CD pipelines
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
Ensure solutions are delivered on time and aligned with project objectives
Document technical designs, processes, and development standards

Proven experience designing, building, and delivering high-quality software solutions in a professional environment
Strong expertise in either Frontend Development (React) , Backend Development (.NET) , or across the full technology stack
Solid understanding of software architecture, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles
Experience developing and integrating with RESTful APIs and distributed systems
Strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, testable code and implementing effective testing practices
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex challenges and identify practical solutions
Experience conducting code reviews and promoting engineering best practices within a team environment
Knowledge of modern development methodologies, including Agile and iterative delivery practices
Experience working with databases and data-driven applications
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
A passion for continuous learning, innovation, and staying up to date with emerging technologies
Experience building, deploying, and supporting applications in production environments
Exposure to highly transactional, customer-facing, financial, fintech, gaming, or other complex digital platforms would be beneficial
