About the Opportunity
Midrand | Hybrid
An established and diversified business group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join its Group Internal Audit function. This role offers exposure to a broad range of businesses and operations, providing valuable opportunities to influence governance, risk management, and internal control practices across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering independent assurance and advisory services, while partnering with management to strengthen risk management, governance, and control environment Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Honours Degree
- CIA qualified or at least 2 CIA examinations completed
- Minimum 5 years' Internal Audit experience
- Strong knowledge of Risk Management, Governance, and Compliance
- ITGC and Application Controls experience advantageous
- Ability to work independently and manage audits end-to-end
Key Responsibilities
- Execute risk-based internal audits from planning to reporting
- Assess internal controls, governance, and risk management processes
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
- Prepare and present audit reports to management
- Conduct follow-up audits and monitor corrective actions
- Assist with risk assessments and fraud investigations
- Engage confidently with senior and executive management
- Liaise with external auditors where required

Travel within the SADC region will be required twice a year for two days.
