- Our client is seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to support business transformation, process improvement, and technology initiatives across the organisation.
- The successful candidate will act as the link between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are understood, analysed, and translated into practical, sustainable solutions. The role will support initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, procurement, finance, sales, and customer service functions.
- This position requires strong business analysis capabilities together with practical exposure to an FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment. The successful candidate will contribute to ERP projects, process improvement initiatives, systems optimisation, integrations, automation initiatives, and broader digital transformation programmes.
- The role involves working closely with multiple business units and operational teams across various sites. The successful candidate will be expected to spend time within operational environments to gain a thorough understanding of business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support successful project delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Gather, analyse, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, business rules, use cases, and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, solution design, testing, and delivery.
- Manage requirement changes and assess their impact on business processes and project outcomes.
Business Process Improvement
- Analyse, document, and improve business processes across the organisation.
- Identify process inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation.
- Facilitate process review and redesign workshops.
- Recommend practical business improvements that drive operational efficiency and business value.
- Support the standardisation of processes where appropriate.
ERP & Business Systems
- Support ERP implementation, migration, enhancement, and optimisation initiatives.
- Define business requirements and assist with solution design activities.
- Work closely with implementation partners, service providers, and internal ICT teams.
- Support the evaluation and improvement of business systems and technology solutions.
- Assist with post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supply Chain & Operational Support
- Work with stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, production planning, warehousing, distribution and logistics, inventory management, sales, and customer service.
- Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency, information visibility, and decision-making.
Data, Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Gather and document reporting requirements.
- Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and management reporting needs.
- Support business intelligence and reporting initiatives.
- Validate reporting outputs against business requirements.
- Assist in measuring the business benefits of implemented solutions.
Systems Integration & Data
- Document integrations, interfaces, business rules, and data flows between systems.
- Work with technical teams and vendors to define integration requirements.
- Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities where required.
- Help ensure data quality and integrity across business systems.
Testing & User Acceptance Testing
- Develop and support test scenarios and test scripts.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Assist users in preparing for and executing testing activities.
- Track and assist in resolving defects and issues identified during testing.
- Support business sign-off and deployment readiness activities.
Change Management & User Adoption
- Support organisational change resulting from business process or system improvements.
- Develop process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Assist with end-user training and business readiness activities.
- Support user adoption and benefits realisation initiatives.
Project Delivery Support
- Support multiple business and ICT initiatives simultaneously.
- Assist with project planning, risk identification, and issue management.
- Participate in project meetings, solution reviews, and implementation activities.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and solution discussions.
- Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Work with external vendors and implementation partners where required.
- Provide clear and professional progress reporting.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience within an FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, distribution, or similarly operational environment.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
- Experience mapping and improving business processes.
- Exposure to ERP implementations, migrations, enhancements, or enterprise system projects.
- Experience facilitating workshops and working with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and implementation activities.

Qualifications
- A relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Information Technology, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Advantageous Certifications
Relevant certifications will be advantageous but are not mandatory, including:
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA.
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).
- Lean Six Sigma.
- Agile Business Analysis or Scrum certification.
