Senior Full Stack Developer (Mauritius)

Introduction

We are looking for a dynamic member to join our startup team who is willing to work in an informal

environment and is looking for a challenge.

We are building a new global SaaS platform for accounting firms that turns existing client financial data

into clear, actionable financial opportunities. By securely connecting to accounting systems such as

Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks, the platform automatically identifies opportunities across wealth

management, finance and lending, foreign exchange, estate planning, and long-term insurance. These

opportunities can then be fulfilled through a curated marketplace of trusted service providers. The

platform enables accounting firms of any size to generate new revenue and deepen client relationships

without needing financial licences or specialist staff. In short, the initiative allows accountants to unlock

the full value of their client base, quantify the future value of their firm and grow sustainably.

This is a high pressure environment which requires speed, accuracy and risk management as focal points

to effectively deliver to the role.

Duties & Responsibilities

 Development and enhancements on the NavMav front end system and backend

 API integrations

 Design solutions

 Research and development of new products, tools

 Stakeholder management with sales, operations, technical team, clients, suppliers, 3rd

party development partners

 Continuous planning, coordinating and reporting back

 Production support and Issue management and resolution

Input into detailed incident reporting and documentation and process

improvement

 Knowledge share with other team members

 Responsible for development standards and suggest improvements where applicable

 System documentation

 Technical specifications documentation

 Work with outsource partner if required

 Performance enhancements

 Bug fixes

 Code reviews

 Creation of reports and dashboards

 System, unit, regression, UAT testing, checking all changes execute as needed and

ensure necessary processes and protocols are followed

 SQL queries

 Data extracts

 Analyse log files

 Responsible for deploys to Production and source control

 Perform standby duties

Required Technology Stack & Experience

 TypeScript (full-stack)

 Node.js backend development

 React + modern component-based frontend frameworks

 ORM frameworks (e.g., Drizzle or similar)

 Event-driven architecture and message queue systems

 Redis or equivalent caching technologies

 WebSockets / real-time systems

 Microsoft Azure cloud platform and containerised deployments

 Multi-tenant SaaS platform experience

 CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployment strategies

 API-first architecture and external system integrations

 Authentication & role-based access control systems

 Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Sentry)

 PostgreSQL or MS_SQL and relational data modelling

 Database design skills

 Use of Stored Procedures

 Understanding of SQL admin

 Indexes, triggers, SQL Jobs etc.

 Backing up/restoring of databases

 Reporting and BI tools beneficial

 Knowledge of data and administrative management practices and procedures

 Degree or relevant diploma in Information Systems or Technology

 8–12+ years experience, including

 3+ years in senior or lead role

 Proven experience delivering end-to-end platforms (not just features)
