Senior Full Stack Developer

The Senior Developer is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of scalable and maintainable software solutions across the front end, back end, integration or full stack depending on assignment. Working as part of a high-performance agile development team, the role is central to delivering strategic and operational system enhancements and integrations.

The Senior Developer is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of scalable and maintainable software solutions across the front end, back end, integration or full stack depending on assignment. Working as part of a high-performance agile development team, the role is central to delivering strategic and operational system enhancements and integrations.

The Senior Developer collaborates closely with the Development Manager and Solutions Architect during grooming sessions, takes full accountability for delivering development items, resolves defects found during QA and UAT, and supports the complete lifecycle through to deployment, hypercare, and post-release support. This is a high-pressure role and may require overtime or weekend work , particularly during deployment periods. Developers operate within 2-week sprints , planned by the Scrum Master and coordinated by the Development Manager, across support, change, and project-based initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators

• Solutions delivered within agreed sprint timelines and quality benchmark.

• Clean, efficient, and well-documented code with strong test coverage and adherence to standards.

• Timely response to QA/UAT findings and production issues, with minimal rework required

• Active participation in grooming, sprint ceremonies, peer reviews, and technical discussions.

• Provides support to junior developers and contributes to a collaborative team environment.

• Full-stack application development and system integration.

• Designing and developing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

• Developing and consuming APIs and integrating third-party systems.

• Database design, development, and optimisation.

• Code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

• Supporting CI/CD, deployment, and software development best practices.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications and/Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

• Certifications in .NET, front-end frameworks, or software architecture are advantageous.

Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development in a full stack, back end, or front-end capacity.

• Proficient in ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework (code-first approach), and SQL Server.

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, Swagger/Open API.

• Working knowledge of Git, automated testing (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Playwright), and CI/CD practices.

• Experience working in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

• Exposure to message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ or Kafka), Postman, Microsoft Entra, and modern DevOps tools is beneficial.

• Strong focus on system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
