Senior Frontend Software Developer

Introduction

Netcash is a leading fintech payment solutions provider to South African businesses and organizations, offering a comprehensive range of services designed to simplify payments, improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all software development requirements for Netcash are executed in line with business specifications and objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain software requirement specifications provided by business.

Collaborate and work closely with all the relevant stakeholders to provide product software developments, adjustments, or revisions that:

• Interpret requirements into deployable and usable solutions;

• Always have the best interests of our clients in mind;

• Are built according to the exact specification requirements from business;

• Are tested and validated against internal/external required quality standards

• Are deployed without error or bugs;

• Are of the highest industry coding practice/s;

• Integrate the system as a whole;

To ensure that software development hours are captured on the relevant platform for the purpose of tracking:

• Development capacity;

• Tracking statuses / issues;

• Tracking resolutions.

To participate in regular stand-up meetings to review

• Project statuses;

• Business analysis;

• Errors or operational issues;

• Timelines;

• Client feedback.

To provide technical input for the creation of software documentation and training materials where required.

Front-End Development Specific Requirements

To design, develop and maintain software requirement specifications provided by business that:

• Fits business web application design requirements to ensure technical feasibility;

• Implements specified visual elements into business web applications;

• Optimizes business web applications to ensure fast loading speeds and scalability where required;

• Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility;

• Maintains websites and implement any necessary additions or enhancements.

To constantly collaborate with members of the team (including designers and back-end developers) to consistently improve functionality and user-friendliness of the web applications.

To identify and troubleshoot various website issues and coding problems, addressing such with urgency and incorporating the relevant stakeholders

To maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Relevant IT Degree

• 5 -10 years experience in aspx.net web forms & MVC

• Proficiency in vb.net and C#

• Proficiency in Javascript, Jquery, Ajax

• Proficiency in html styling,Css3 and Bootstrap

• SQL -stored procedures and creation, management of table structures with industry standard design practices applied in terms of creation, maintenance and implementation of new features.

• Maui experience

• .net core experience
