Our client is a leading entity within the Financial Services sector, undergoing a significant digital transformation. They are modernizing their legacy platforms to improve user experience and system resilience. This is a high-visibility project with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and critical business operations.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer with deep expertise in Blazor to join a dynamic delivery squad.

This is not a role for a generalist; we need a specialist who can hit the ground running from Day 1. You will be responsible for developing robust, low-latency UI components for a complex financial application. The environment is fast-paced, regulated, and requires a developer who can balance speed of delivery with stringent security and performance standards.

You will be working in a hybrid capacity, attending the office 2-3 days per week to collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Backend Engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead UI Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, responsive web interfaces using Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly).

• Full Lifecycle Delivery: Take ownership of front-end features from technical design and development through to testing, deployment, and support.

• Integration: Work closely with the backend team to integrate Blazor UIs with RESTful APIs and microservices hosted on AWS.

• Code Quality: Champion best practices in code quality, unit testing, and performance optimization within the .NET ecosystem.

• Technical Agility: Adapt quickly to the client's existing codebase, architecture patterns, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and refinement sessions. Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Blazor (Critical): Extensive, demonstrable experience developing production-grade applications using Blazor (Server/WASM). You must be able to discuss complex state management, component lifecycle, and JavaScript interop.

• .NET Ecosystem: Strong proficiency in C# and modern .NET (Core 6/8+), with a solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles.

• AWS (Cloud): Hands-on experience with AWS core services (e.g., S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda) in a production environment.

• Front End Tooling: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (or pre-processors), and modern JavaScript/Typescript.

• Agile Delivery: Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a Scrum or Kanban environment.

• Financial Services Experience (Desirable): Previous exposure to Financial Services, FinTech, or highly regulated environments is a strong advantage (e.g., knowledge of trading platforms, compliance, or secure data handling).
