The role focuses on fire risk management, compliance, and design integration across complex industrial and mining projects. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, ensuring fire safety standards are embedded from concept through to execution.
Key Responsibilities Develop and review fire protection and fire detection system designs Conduct fire risk assessments and hazard analyses Ensure compliance with fire safety standards and regulations Support multidisciplinary engineering teams with fire safety integration Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation Participate in HAZOP and HAZID reviews Provide input into emergency response planning Conduct site inspections, audits, and commissioning support Engage with clients, contractors, and authorities
Requiremets
Bachelors Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 7+ years experience in fire engineering within industrial environments
Software Proficiency: DNV _PHAST and SAFETI, PIPINET, AFT fathom, CFD modeling.
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems
Experience in EPCM or consulting environment
Familiarity with NFPA, ISO or equivalent standards
Fire modelling experience advantageous
Strong communication and reporting skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
