Senior Financial Manager (Port Elizabeth)

Requirements

• B.Comm (Hons) with CA/CIMA (or similar) • A minimum of 8 years financial experience in auditing, technology, FMCG, retail or similar industry. • High impact self-starting individual, resourceful and solution-driven. • Proven track record of AI incorporation in a financial environment. • Have the ability to be creative in problem solving and financial decision making, and able to model different potential outcomes to meet the needs of the internal and external stakeholders. • Experience in managing and influencing multiple stakeholders. • Excellent financial acumen, with experience in revenue and cost management. Responsibilities but not limited to:

Financial Accounting

• Supervise and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial account reconciliations. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP. • Review financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Management Reporting

• Create and manage the ongoing production of a financial information pack to deliver financial insights and strategic support to key stakeholders. • Manage subscriptions profitability, client billing, and revenue recognition processes to ensure accuracy and transparency. • Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts. • Continually seek to enhance operational processes and reporting. Statutory Reporting and Annual Audit

• Responsible for the statutory reporting and consolidation across relevant entities. • Responsible for the planning, supporting and management of the annual audits of all relevant entities. Treasury Management

• Working Capital Management • Multi-Currency Cashflow Planning • Manage the Accounts Payable function • Manage the Accounts Receivable function • Initiate Weekly Payment Runs • Maintain strong cash flow management and forecasting, with focus on cost efficiency. Taxation

• Oversee the organisation's tax compliance requirements and ensure timely and accurate submissions. • Manage and coordinate: • VAT • EMP201/EMP501 reconciliations • Corporation Tax • Withholding Tax Team Management

• Manage a small team of financial analysts.
• Oversee the operations and development of the companys finance department including budgeting and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
