Senior Financial Manager / Financial Analyst – Mining Sector Cape Town Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in the mining industry? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established investment organization seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Financial Manager / Financial Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex mining projects, developing financial models, and providing strategic financial insight. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for mining operations and projects.

• Perform project valuations, including Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) calculations.

• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules ready for annual audits.

• Conduct financial analysis to support investment and business decisions.

• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Approximately 10 years' experience in a senior financial management or financial analyst role.

• Mining industry experience is essential.

• Proven experience building financial models for mining projects.

• Strong understanding of project valuation techniques, including NPV and IRR.

• Experience preparing audit-ready financial statements.

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
