Financial Reporting & Governance
- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, annual, and statutory financial reports.
- Ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the organisation.
- Compile executive and board-level reporting packs with strategic insights and recommendations.
- Analyse business performance, financial risks, and growth opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Drive the annual budgeting process across business units.
- Lead forecasting cycles and deliver accurate financial projections.
- Develop and consolidate strategic financial plans.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Partner with operational leaders to support business objectives and profitability.
Business Partnering & Commercial Finance
- Deliver strategic financial analysis to support growth initiatives and business decisions.
- Provide actionable insights that improve operational and financial performance.
- Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced financial modelling and analysis.
- Promote a culture of accountability, efficiency, and financial discipline.
Finance Transformation & Process Improvement
- Continuously improve reporting processes, controls, and financial systems.
- Lead automation and reporting enhancement initiatives.
- Drive finance transformation projects focused on efficiency and data quality.
- Ensure all reporting deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
- Build strong relationships across finance, operations, and external stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Risk, Compliance & Audit
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Maintain strong internal controls and governance standards.
- Support internal and external audits and drive the resolution of findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA(SA) qualification is essential.
- Minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience within a senior finance leadership role.
- Proven experience managing and developing finance teams.
