Minimum requirements: LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification advantageous 7+ years' hands-on experience in deceased estate administration. Proven experience managing deceased estates from reporting to finalisation and closure . Strong knowledge of Master of the High Court processes and requirements . Experience with Letters of Executorship, Liquidation and Distribution Accounts, Section 29 and Section 35 advertisements . Experience dealing with asset transfers, liquidation of assets, liabilities and property transfers . Experience with SARS and deceased estate tax matters . Strong understanding of relevant fiduciary legislation and regulatory requirements . Knowledge of the FISA Code of Conduct . Experience with testamentary trusts and estate planning will be advantageous. Experience with Legalease, Legacy or similar estate administration systems will be advantageous. Excellent drafting, communication and client liaison skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estates and deadlines independently.
