Senior Fudiciary Administrator/Attorney Location: Southern Suburb , Cape Town Salary: Market Related Duties & Responsibilities
A respected fiduciary environment is seeking an experienced Attorney with strong deceased estate and fiduciary experience to join their team as a Senior Estates Administrator.
Minimum requirements
- LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Admitted Attorney.
- 7+ years’ hands-on experience in deceased estate administration.
- Proven experience managing deceased estates from reporting to finalisation and closure .
- Strong knowledge of Master of the High Court processes and requirements .
- Experience with Letters of Executorship, Liquidation and Distribution Accounts, Section 29 and Section 35 advertisements .
- Experience dealing with asset transfers, liquidation of assets, liabilities and property transfers .
- Experience with SARS and deceased estate tax matters .
- Strong understanding of relevant fiduciary legislation and regulatory requirements .
- Knowledge of the FISA Code of Conduct .
- Experience with testamentary trusts and estate planning will be advantageous.
- Experience with Legalease, Legacy or similar estate administration systems will be advantageous.
- Excellent drafting, communication and client liaison skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estates and deadlines independently.
