Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex integrated engineering problems.
- Validate and integrate life cycle plans for the plant.
- Provide specialist engineering advice/assistance.
- Manage engineering projects/modifications.
- Perform technical and financial evaluations.
- Lead and sustain the Risk-Based Inspection RBI programme across Peaking Generation assets.
- Facilitate RBI assessments and develop risk-based inspection strategies.
- Maintain RBI databases, inspection plans and asset risk registers
- Coordinate specialist engineering assessments, including fitness-for-service evaluations.
- Support outage planning and equipment integrity initiatives.
- Monitor asset health and recommend actions to reduce risk and improve reliability.
- Participate in investigations relating to equipment failures and asset integrity concern
Minimum requirements Qualifications:
- BSc/B Eng in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits
Related Minimum Experience
- 4 years related technical experience and engineering related technologies
Professional Registration
- Engineering Council of South Africa ECSA Professional Engineer
