Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex mechanical engineering problems affecting generator and associated plant performance.
- Develop and integrate lifecycle plans for generator mechanical systems and components.
- Provide specialist engineering advice and technical support to Peaking Power Stations.
- Manage engineering projects, plant modifications and technical investigations.
- Perform technical and financial evaluations and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications and technical requirements.
Minimum requirements
Qualifications
- BSc/B Eng in Mechanical Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits.
Related Minimum Experience
- 4 years' related experience in technical experience and engineering related technologies
Professional Registration
- ECSA Professional Engineer
