Detail: Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Pr.Eng/Pr.Tech. registered Relevant post graduate qualifications albeit technical, management or business related could be advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 6 years' experience within the field of E&I and control systems engineering and construction. At least 4 years plant commissioning experience. Knowledge required: E&I (HV, MV & LV) and control systems design, deliverables, construction and application in large industrial plants. Industry codes/standards and inter departmental practices and procedures. In depth understanding of drawings, specifications, networks and communication. Pricing, tendering and budgeting principles, tools and control. Computer spread sheets and other MS office applications. Safety consciousness and application of good practice health and safety. Skills: Self-starter, ability to work under pressure, results and delivery orientated. Organisational skills like planning, project management and prioritising ability. Commercial awareness and sound written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpreted written computer software and be able to design/develop from concept new control systems. Interpret drawings and specifications for internal, client and contractor use. Innovation in problem solving and creativity with new ideas. Listening to, interpreting and understanding feedback from clients and team members. Team leadership, Team player and interpersonal motivational skills. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
