Reviewing and approving designs, managing project delivery, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and legislation, and supporting the development of the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical
- Lead and review MV and LV electrical designs in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Review and sign off engineering designs and technical documentation.
- Prepare scopes of work, specifications, BOQs and tender documentation .
- Conduct site audits and assess existing electrical infrastructure for technical and legislative compliance.
- Develop commissioning procedures and manage commissioning activities.
- Provide technical input to manufacturing and software engineering through comprehensive project data packs.
- Ensure designs are safe, practical, cost-effective and aligned with industry best practice.
- Liaise with clients to understand technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement across electrical designs and engineering processes.
Management & Leadership
- Manage and coordinate the Electrical Engineering function and associated activities.
- Lead, mentor and develop engineers and electrical design personnel.
- Monitor project progress, quality, risks, deadlines and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company quality
