Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering and design teams, providing technical direction and mentorship. • Take hands-on responsibility for electrical engineering and design across the full project lifecycle. • Develop and review electrical designs, control systems and instrumentation solutions. • Work with PLC and SCADA systems , including the design and integration of automation and control solutions. • Provide technical leadership on Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) projects. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients and other stakeholders. • Resolve technical and design challenges throughout project execution. • Lead commissioning activities and ensure successful project completion and handover. • Ensure engineering deliverables meet required technical, quality and compliance standards. Minimum Requirements

• B.Eng. / BSc in Electrical Engineering . • ECSA Registered Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.) . • Strong hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering and Design . • Experience with PLC, SCADA, Electrical and Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) systems. • Proven experience leading electrical engineering/design teams. • Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills. • Experience taking ownership of projects from design through to commissioning and final handover . • Based in Pretoria and willing to travel as required . Key Requirements

Hands-on design experience and proven expertise in leading electrical design from project inception and concept development, through detailed design, PLC/SCADA and control & instrumentation integration, commissioning and complete project handover. We are looking for an engineer who remains technically hands-on , while having the leadership ability to guide a team, engage with clients and drive projects through to successful completion.
