Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Design and develop electrical systems for advanced engineering applications

• Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring layouts, and harness designs

• Develop and maintain 3D electrical models and associated engineering documentation

• Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical design data

• Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements

• Manage engineering information within Product Data Management (PDM) systems

• Conduct concept evaluations, design reviews, and technical assessments

• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and multidisciplinary engineering departments

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7 years' experience in Electrical Design Engineering

• Strong experience in electrical system design and integration

• Experience developing electrical schematics, wiring systems, and harness designs

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software; Siemens NX experience will be advantageous

• Experience with electrical schematic design software such as Mentor Graphics Vesys will be advantageous

• Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems

• Strong understanding of electrical components and system integration principles

Qualification

• BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent
