Job Title: Senior Draughtsman Start Date: 2026-09-01 - 2026-10-01 Vacancy Type: Permanent CPT006778 Sectors: Engineering & Technical Location: Western Cape , CPT - Northern Suburbs Salary: R 35000 - R 45000 Monthly Cost To Company (Medical Aid Provident Fund ) Employment Equity: NON-EE/EE Brief: Senior Draughtsman – Northern Suburbs Engineering & Manufacturing Full-time | On-site Our client, a well-established ISO-certified manufacturer in the industrial engineering sector, is seeking a skilled Senior Draughtsman to produce accurate technical drawings and documentation for components and assemblies, supporting manufacturing, quality, and project delivery. Detail: Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for HVAC, ventilation and air movement systems. Produce manufacturing, fabrication and assembly drawings. Develop drawings for fans, ducting, air-handling systems and associated mechanical components. Interpret engineering designs, specifications and technical requirements. Make design modifications and drawing revisions as required. Ensure drawings comply with relevant engineering standards and project specifications. Work closely with Engineers, Manufacturing and other departments to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable. Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, tolerances and manufacturability. Provide technical support to production and fabrication teams where required. Assist with resolving design and manufacturing queries. Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing, HVAC or ventilation environment. National Diploma, Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Draughting would be advantageous. Proven Solid Works experience Driver's license / own transport Experience with sheet metal, fabrication, ducting or fan-related products would be highly advantageous.
