In this role, you will contribute to architectural decisions, solve complex technical challenges, and collaborate with high-performing engineering teams to deliver impactful software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern .NET technologies
- Contribute to architectural design and system-level decision-making
- Build clean, maintainable, and scalable backend and full-stack applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize systems, and improve performance
- Stay up to date with modern development practices and emerging technologies
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- 6 + years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+
- Solid Front End Software Development in Angular or other languages
- Solid experience building Web APIs and RESTful services
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience designing microservices and distributed systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design DDD
- Front-end experience with React or Angular
- Experience with containerization tools Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working across multiple industries or enterprise environments
- Exposure to advanced cloud-native architectures
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft, AWS, or DevOps disciplines
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
