Introduction

6 to 12 month contract roles with the possibility of permanent conversion

Hybrid working with offices based in Pretoria

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in Java, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes, and AI/Generative AI to build and support scalable enterprise applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript .

Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices .

Build and integrate AI/Generative AI and LLM solutions , including RAG.

Deploy and manage applications on Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) .

Develop and maintain Docker/Kubernetes deployments and Helm charts.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps .

Troubleshoot and support production applications.

Contribute to architecture, code reviews, technical design, and mentoring.

Desired Experience & Qualification

7+ years software development experience .

Strong Java / Spring Boot experience.

Strong Angular / TypeScript experience.

Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.

Strong production experience with Kubernetes / AKS .

Docker and Helm experience.

Azure DevOps and CI/CD experience.

Strong microservices and REST API experience.

Hands-on AI / Generative AI / LLM experience.

Experience with RAG, embeddings and/or vector databases .

Strong SQL/database experience.

Git and Agile development experience.
