Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver high-quality software solutions, including new features and enhancements, across the full product lifecycle
- Identify and implement optimisation opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, and overall business value
- Maintain high coding standards through automated testing, peer code reviews, technical documentation, and collaboration with the QA team
- Oversee software architecture, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems
- Mentor and support fellow developers, promote engineering best practices and collaborate with DevOps to ensure reliable software deployment
Requirements
- A relevant three-year qualification with at least five years' software development experience; alternatively, a relevant one-year certification with seven years' experience, or eight or more years of total software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C#, with familiarity with modern web development technologies. Experience with React and TypeScript would be advantageous
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, database technologies, testing practices, and the full software development lifecycle, including production operations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a business-focused mindset, the ability to work under pressure and a passion for mentoring and continuous improvement
