Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Power Automate to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise business applications and workflow automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering Microsoft-based digital solutions, integrating business systems, and automating operational processes. Exposure to ServiceNow integrations and workflows will be highly advantageous.

This role requires an individual who can work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Platform:

• Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)

• Power Automate

• Power Pages

• Dataverse

• Develop and configure SharePoint Online solutions including:

• Lists and Libraries

• Document Management Solutions

• Custom Forms

• Site Collections and Modern Sites

• Build reusable components and frameworks to support enterprise solution delivery.

Business Process Automation

• Design and implement workflow automation solutions using Power Automate.

• Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.

• Develop approval workflows and system integration processes.

Integration & Development

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with:

• Microsoft 365 services

• SharePoint Online

• Azure Services

• REST APIs

• ServiceNow (where applicable)

• Develop custom connectors and APIs where required.

• Create secure data integrations between multiple enterprise systems.

ServiceNow Collaboration

• Support integrations between Microsoft platforms and ServiceNow.

• Work with ServiceNow teams to automate incident, request, and change management processes.

• Participate in ServiceNow solution enhancement initiatives.

Governance & Security

• Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft and organizational governance standards.

• Implement appropriate security models, permissions, and compliance controls.

• Maintain application lifecycle management (ALM) processes and deployment pipelines.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.

• Participate in solution architecture and design reviews.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

• Document technical designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.

Support & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.

• Perform solution enhancements and optimization.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployments.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5-8 years of software development experience.

• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform.

• Extensive experience with:

• Power Apps

• Power Automate

• SharePoint Online

• Microsoft 365

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise workflow automation solutions.

• Experience integrating systems using APIs, web services, and connectors.

• Working knowledge of:

• Azure Services

• Azure Functions

• Azure Logic Apps

• Microsoft Graph API

• Exposure to ServiceNow administration, configuration, or integration projects.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems OR Relevant National Diploma with extensive industry experience.

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200)

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100)

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

• ServiceNow (Advantageous)
