Senior Software Architect / Lead Developer | .NET, Azure & Cloud Technologies

A leading financial services organisation is looking for a Senior Software Architect / Lead Developer to drive the technical direction of key business platforms, CRM solutions, and digital services. This is an opportunity for a hands-on technical leader to shape architecture, modernise systems, and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. Duties & Responsibilities

This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong developer who enjoys architecture, cloud technologies, and leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap aligned to business objectives.

• Drive architecture improvements and migration towards microservices and cloud-native solutions.

• Design, build, and integrate scalable applications and services.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, testers, and development teams to ensure successful delivery.

• Review and enhance coding standards, development practices, and software quality.

• Evaluate and validate business requirements before development.

• Act as a technical representative in stakeholder engagements.

• Mentor developers and contribute to the growth of the broader technology team.

Requirements

• BCom, BSc, or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.

• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.

• Expert knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

• Strong technical experience with:

• C# .NET / .NET Core

• ASP.NET MVC & Web Forms

• SQL Server

• Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks

• REST APIs and service integration

• Azure Cloud / PaaS solutions

• CI/CD pipelines

• Docker & Kubernetes

• HTML5
