A leading Student Accommodation Property Management Company is seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Senior Debtors Administrator to join its finance team based in Pretoria or Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property finance professional to lead debtors operations, oversee collections, supervise a debtors team and ensure the effective management of tenant accounts, lease administration and student funding processes. About the Role Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing the full debtors function across a portfolio of student accommodation properties. You will ensure accurate banking allocations, rent collections, lease administration, reporting, reconciliations and tenant account management while leading a team focused on achieving exceptional collection rates. You will also work closely with universities, bursary providers, finance teams and operational departments to ensure seamless financial administration and outstanding customer service. Detail: Key Responsibilities Debtors & Financial Administration Oversee daily banking allocations and receipting Manage rental collections and debtor ageing Review rental account adjustments and reconciliations Process online payment reconciliations Manage deposit refunds and tenant account reconciliations Monitor arrears and improve collection performance Lease Administration Oversee lease agreements and tenant documentation Manage funded student invoicing Liaise with universities and bursary providers Ensure lease documentation is complete and accurate Support student move-ins and move-outs Reporting & Compliance Produce weekly and monthly arrears reports Monitor tenancy reconciliations Prepare TPN reports and arrears documentation Ensure accurate financial reporting Maintain compliance with company policies and the POPI Act Team Leadership Supervise the Debtors Administration team Provide coaching and support to improve performance Drive process improvements and collection strategies Ensure operational excellence across the debtors function Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in Debtors Administration Previous experience within Property Management or Student Accommodation Experience supervising a Debtors team Strong understanding of lease administration and tenant accounts Experience with banking allocations and reconciliations Knowledge of rental collections and credit control Strong financial reporting skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Highly Advantageous MDA / MRI Property Central FG System Student Accommodation experience Property Management experience University and bursary funding administration Peach Payments or online payment platform experience Key Skills Senior Debtors Administration Property Management Student Accommodation Credit Control Banking Allocations Rent Collections Lease Administration Tenant Accounts Financial Administration Property Finance MDA / MRI Property Central FG System Arrears Management Reporting & Reconciliations Team Leadership Property Administration Customer Service Stakeholder Management Why Join Us?
