Their team of safari specialists, guides, and travel experts create tailor-made safari experiences across Africa, delivering exceptional customer experiences and expert travel advice. Detail: 8–10 years in data engineering, with real depth (not just breadth) in the Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery stack A track record of building this kind of infrastructure before: you know the best libraries and integrations for the job, and don't need a large tooling budget to bring data into BigQuery Hands-on experience integrating ad platform APIs (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta) and a working understanding of the quirks of marketing data (attribution windows, conversion lag, platform-reported vs. modelled numbers) Working familiarity with GA4 as a data source (not implementation-level ownership- see scope note above) Comfortable owning infrastructure with a small team and no safety net of a large platform org around you A track record of staying senior IC by choice, not someone using this as a stepping stone to managing a team Be part of the digital B2C team and be a “builder” Own the pipeline from ad platforms and CRM (Hubspot) data through to BigQuery: clean, reliable data ingestion As Specialist Recruiters for professionals in your industry, we are well geared to represent your best career interests.
