- This isn't a role where you pull a report, make the charts look nice, and move on.
- You'll be taking messy data and real business questions all the way through to something useful; understanding the problem, modelling the data, validating the numbers, and building reporting that people rely on.
Think
- SQL – investigating data, finding patterns and answering business questions
- dbt – building reliable, reusable data transformations
- Tableau – dashboards, recurring reports and actionable insights
- Data modelling, quality and validation – knowing where the numbers came from and why they're right
- Ad-hoc analysis – finding answers when the business needs them
- The sweet spot? 2-3+ years in data analytics or data science, with a completed bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
- Experience in financial services, consulting or high-growth tech is a big plus.
