An established Engineering Consulting company is seeking ECSA registered Professional Civil Engineers (PrEng) to join their team ASAP. These highly specialised roles offer the opportunity to lead the civil design, optimisation, and technical execution of a diverse portfolio of projects across municipal infrastructure, industrial and mining facilities, as well as informal settlement developments. The successful candidate will take ownership of the full project life cycle, from feasibility studies and conceptual design through detailed engineering, commissioning, and plant optimisation. These opportunities are ideally suited to strategic and people-focused engineering leaders who understands that successful engineering solutions must ultimately improve lives, enhance sustainability, and respond effectively to real-world challenges. Detail: The successful applicant will be responsible for inter alia: - The design of wastewater infrastructure – bulk water or water treatment plants - project management of multidisciplinary projects - preparing contract documentation - contract administration - supporting Green Drop and Blue Drop compliance. Qualifications: A minimum of a BSc or B Eng in Civil Engineering is required. A Master's in Water and Wastewater Treatment is a strong advantage. A BSc or BEng in Chemical Engineering will also be considered, providing you have experience in municipal wastewater treatment design and project management. Please provide evidence on your CV of experience in the Civil design and engineering of such projects. Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer essential. The roles involve site work and may require travel and work on site. A valid driver's licence (manual) is essential, own transport recommended. Experience: At least 5-8+ years of experience in wastewater infrastructure design, project management, and contract administration, with sound knowledge of treatment plants or bulk water projects Skills: Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent communication Strong and demonstratable technical skills in the CIVIL Engineering space Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word and MS Project essential Personal Attributes: Excellent proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write). Deeply motivated by the challenge of solving complex problems to improve system efficiency and sustainability. Client focused (both internal and external clients).
