A company based in Woodmead is seeking a Senior C# Developer to join their permanent software development team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitoring or optimizing the performance, security, backup, recovery or integrity of web server and site technical performance.
Deliver production-quality software by paying attention to detail, performing extensive unit testing and supporting quality testing phases.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences and/or Matric
At least 10 years relevant experience
5 years relevant experience as a Senior developer as part of a team in a software development environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft web development toolsets
Good understanding of the .NET framework and C# language features
Good understanding of the SDLC process, tools and techniques specifically applied to software development methodology
Experience with team development tools such as source control applications (preferably GIT) and UML tools for documentation
Knowledge of security vulnerabilities (OWASP top 10) and their impact on application solutions
In Depth ASP.Net, C#.NET, XML and knowledge of DotNet 4.7.2+
Integration experience (Web/RESTful services)
XML and JSON messages interaction
Understanding of namespace management and utilisation
SQL and experience with a relational database (i.e. MS SQL 2008 onwards)
Experience with SoapUI/Postman
Infrastructure as code (Kubernetes)
Experience in object orientation and composition
Knowledge and experience of Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio 2012 and above, SOAP/REST Services, IBM MQ Series Client interaction, ArgoCD, and OpenShift
