Job Description Key Performance Output

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Manager Procurement and will be responsible for the following:

Ensure adherence to the approved procurement plans in accordance with stakeholder needs.
Monitor and report on the execution of approved demand plans.
Execute and administer RFX process.
Evaluate the RFX in line within delegated levels.
Ensure that the RFX process is executed within the parameters of supplier contract terms.
Organise and coordinate the negotiation process within Delegated levels.
Ensure adherence to approved legislation and transformation imperatives.
Implement BBBEE strategies to ensure required targets are met.
Integrate small black businesses within the supplier base.
Identify, analyse and mitigate SCM related risks.
Monitor, evaluate and report on relevant supplier performance.
Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
Implement remedial actions where required.
Provide an on-the-job guidance and supporting role to Buyers.
Deliver cost benefits in line with approved savings methodology.
Participate in the Procurement planning process, coordinate and lead functional projects.
Compile, submit and present various reports.
