Drive outbound pipeline growth by delivering strategic solution selling within the technical software and agency space.
Location: Cape Town, South Africa (Wembley Square Office) | Working Arrangement: Office-Based | Working Hours: 9:00–17:30 UK Time | Salary: R31,000.00 – R39,000.00 base per month + monthly qualified-meeting bonuses + quarterly revenue-sharing (2.5–5%)

Our client operates within the technical software and agency space, delivering complex software solutions to clients through a consultative, solution-selling approach. The business works closely across leadership and engineering teams to develop strategic sales campaigns and build compelling business cases for prospective clients.
The organisation focuses on identifying client pain points, positioning technical solutions, and leveraging modern technologies and AI-driven sales enablement tools to support outbound business development.
THE ROLE: SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR) / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (BDM)
This role is responsible for driving outbound lead generation and pipeline growth through proactive business development activities. Working within a collaborative team of senior professionals, you will focus on solution selling by identifying client challenges, positioning complex technical solutions, and building strategic sales narratives.
You will take ownership of outbound prospecting across multiple communication channels while collaborating with leadership and engineering teams to validate technical sales campaigns and utilise AI-driven sales enablement tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive outbound lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Own cold outreach across phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, voice notes, and video snippets.
- Identify client pain points and position complex software solutions.
- Build strategic sales narratives rather than relying on scripted sales approaches.
- Work closely with leadership and cross-functional engineering teams to build business cases.
- Validate technical sales campaigns.
- Explore and utilise AI-driven sales enablement tools.
- Generate leads independently without pre-qualified handoffs.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Proven experience as a Senior BDR/BDM within software design/development agencies or technical sales.
- Demonstrated mastery of multi-channel cold outreach, including phone, email, LinkedIn, video, and voice notes.
- Strategic solution-selling capability with a proven track record of independent lead generation.
- Non-negotiable: Senior-level hunter mentality with the ability to generate leads independently without pre-qualified handoffs.
- Technical knowledge of CMS platforms, specifically Sanity.
- Technical understanding of headless architecture.
- Technical knowledge of modern web development technologies including React and Next.js.
- High proficiency using AI tools including OpenAI and Claude for sales enablement and campaign optimisation.
- Technical comprehension of CMS/Sanity and modern web architecture.
- Ability to work UK-aligned hours from the Cape Town office.

- Monday to Friday
- 9:00–17:30 UK Time
REMUNERATION & BENEFITS
- R31,000.00 – R39,000.00 base salary per month.
- Monthly qualified-meeting bonuses.
- Quarterly revenue-sharing of 2.5%–5%.
- Standard hardware supplied by Legends EOR (laptop, second screen, keyboard, mouse, headset).
- Career progression focused on increased earnings and responsibility rather than administrative people management, with progression opportunities into Sales Director or Head of Growth based on results.
- Notice Period:
- 1 week during the first 6 months.
- 2 weeks after 6 months.
- 1 month after 1 year.
