Senior Business Analyst

Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support complex business and technology initiatives.

We are specifically looking for professionals with strong hands-on experience in User Requirements Specification, Business Process Engineering, Business Process Analysis and Requirements Engineering .

This is an opportunity for a Business Analyst who can confidently bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions and work effectively with senior stakeholders and technical teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, document and validate business and user requirements

• Develop comprehensive User Requirements Specifications (URS)

• Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams

• Conduct business process analysis and business process engineering

• Analyse As-Is and To-Be business processes

• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities

• Facilitate requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders

• Develop business process maps, workflows and supporting documentation

• Conduct gap and impact analysis

• Support solution definition and ensure requirements align with business objectives

• Work closely with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Developers, Data Specialists, Project Managers and Testing teams

• Support requirements traceability through the solution delivery lifecycle

• Develop and maintain functional/business analysis documentation

• Support UAT, test scenarios, acceptance criteria and business sign-off

• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate agreement on requirements

• Contribute to business process improvement and IT-enabled transformation initiatives

Candidates must be able to provide specific project evidence , including the client/project, dates, role, responsibilities, technologies/tools used and key deliverables.

Experience within large enterprise, utilities, financial services, telecommunications, government or similarly complex environments will be advantageous.
