Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant

Introduction

A niche accounting firm with Chinese clients is looking for

Highly skilled accurate Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper JHB North   R25,000 – R30,000 CTC. At least BCom Degree with completed article, and at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is required preferably with engineering / construction & logistics industry experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Full accounting functions including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventories and cash book control

• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts

• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register

• Compile Balance Sheet and Income Statement monthly

• Income Tax Calucation, VAT and PAYE tax reporting, submissions and payment and handling SARS audit/queries.

• Bookkeeping up to trial balance (Including VAT recon and submission)

• Can compile IFRS for SMEs financial statements

• Managing junior bookkeeper(s)

• Full payroll functions with PAYE recon and submission

• Manage external audit and associated queries

• Company secretarial work

• Undertake special and ad-hoc projects, adhoc finance related tasks and instructions.

Package & Remuneration

R25,000 - R30,000 CTC per month
