Senior Billing Analyst

The Senior Billing Analyst is responsible for overseeing and supporting the Connectivity billing function across the group, ensuring that all billing activities are completed accurately, efficiently and within the required monthly deadlines.

The role will manage billing queries and escalations, monitor Connectivity projects and applications, maintain customer and supplier information, oversee contracts, commissions, rebates and debit orders, and provide detailed billing analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of the billing process, identifying discrepancies and supporting continuous improvements across the function.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing Management: Oversee the full Connectivity billing function, ensuring accurate and timely billing, payments, credits, refunds, collections, rebates and supplier invoices.
• Monthly Billing: Manage monthly billing cycles, commissions, debit orders and cut-off deadlines while ensuring all billing controls are followed.
• Analysis & Reporting: Analyse billing data, identify discrepancies and trends, and provide reports and insights to management.
• Connectivity Projects: Monitor Connectivity projects, applications and customer information while coordinating with ISPs and internal stakeholders.
• ISP & Contract Management: Manage ISP queries and escalations, contracts, pricing negotiations and billing-related supplier matters.
• Pricing & Sales Support: Manage pricing calculations, sales commissions and provide billing support to the sales team.
• Team Oversight: Lead and monitor the billing team, ensuring performance, accuracy and deadlines are met, while supporting training and HR-related processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required: A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field would be advantageous. Minimum 5 years' experience in billing, finance, revenue administration or a similar environment. Previous experience supervising or managing a billing or administrative team. Experience working with high-volume billing and reconciliations . Proven experience analysing financial or billing data. Experience dealing with suppliers and resolving billing discrepancies. Strong understanding of billing processes, controls and monthly billing cycles. Experience in Telecommunications, Connectivity, ISP, Managed Services or IT would be highly advantageous.
