Senior Back End Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in the delivery of products and solutions across teams.
• Lead, mentor, and support developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Align development initiatives with strategic business goals and delivery plans.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
• Contribute to solution architecture and technical design while collaborating with architects, leads, and stakeholders.
• Ensure software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes are consistently followed.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems while minimizing defects and technical debt.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and continuous system improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Document applications, enhancements, and technical processes to support knowledge sharing.
• Promote effective use of development tools and engineering methodologies.
• Drive adherence to Agile development processes and continuous delivery practices.

Skills & Experience

Essential Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# development.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and modern development practices.
• Strong SQL Server experience, including:
• Relational database design
• Complex SQL query development
• Database optimization and performance tuning

• Experience with source code management and version control systems.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, KISS methodology, TDD, DDD, and Clean Coding practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Advantageous Experience

• .NET Core, Web API, and WCF development.
• Azure DevOps, Git, or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Message queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka.
• Multi-threaded and parallel application development.
• Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.
