Senior Analyst

A forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Central Intelligence team. This role is ideal for an experienced analytics professional who enjoys working at the intersection of data, business strategy, and technology. As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of the reporting and analytics function, driving improvements in automation, self-service reporting, and data accessibility. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to translate complex data into meaningful insights that support commercial growth and strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role that combines advanced analytics, business intelligence, process optimisation, and AI-driven innovation. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable reporting frameworks and improving the way the organisation leverages data across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimisation of reporting and analytics processes.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting requirements.
• Manage and enhance dashboards, reporting frameworks, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Perform quality assurance on automated and AI-generated outputs.
• Write, review, and optimise complex SQL queries supporting business intelligence initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and business objectives.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership teams.
• Develop and maintain data models, templates, documentation, and reporting standards.
• Support data sourcing, cleansing, transformation, and preparation activities.
• Identify and address data quality issues across reporting environments.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Relevant qualification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Analytics, Business Intelligence, Insights, or Research environments.
• Proven experience leading reporting automation or analytics transformation initiatives.
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Track record of delivering measurable improvements through process optimisation and automation.
• Experience working across multiple business functions to support strategic decision-making.
• Advanced SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Strong data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Experience with reporting and visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, or similar.
• Data modelling and transformation experience.
• Exposure to Python, Power Query, or similar analytical tools.
• Practical experience working with AI and Large Language Models within analytical workflows.
• Prompt engineering and AI-assisted analysis experience.
• Dashboard development and reporting automation.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
• Exposure to data-centric products or platforms.
• Experience supporting analytics functions across multiple markets or regions.
• Experience building scalable self-service reporting environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Outstanding communication and data storytelling skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear business insights.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Strong documentation and process improvement capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
