- We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Analyst: Customer Analytics & Insights to join our Marketing Team. This role be based at Clicks Head Office, Woodstock and report into the Head: Customer Marketing & Data Analytics.

Job Purpose
- To lead high-impact customer, marketing and loyalty analytics that convert Clicks' customer data into clear commercial decisions, measurable customer value and improved marketing effectiveness.
- The role will strengthen analytics capability, governance and decision support across Customer Marketing and Loyalty, while developing the strategic, technical and leadership competencies required to progress into Head of Analytics.
Job Objectives
- Translate customer, loyalty and market data into actionable insights that influence marketing, merchandising, digital, loyalty and commercial decisions.
- Build a robust customer analytics capability that moves the business from reactive reporting to proactive insight, predictive intelligence and performance optimisation.
- Lead analysis across ClubCard, customer lifecycle, segmentation, churn, CLV, campaign performance, partner value and personalised offer effectiveness.
- Define and embed consistent measurement frameworks for marketing ROI, incremental sales uplift, test-and-learn, campaign attribution and customer value.
- Partner with business stakeholders to prioritise analytics work against strategic value, commercial impact and customer outcomes.
- Develop scalable reporting, dashboards and self-service analytics that reduce manual effort and improve speed to insight.
- Support the evolution of analytics ways of working, standards, governance, data quality and insight storytelling across the business.
- Develop leadership capability through coaching, stakeholder influence and ownership of cross-functional analytics initiatives, preparing for future Head of Analytics accountability.

- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including executive-level insight storytelling
- Ability to translate complex analytics into simple recommendations and business action
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills
- Project prioritisation, planning, documentation and delivery discipline
- Coaching capability and ability to build analytical standards/playbooks
Job experience
Essential
- Minimum 6–8 years' experience in analytics, customer insights, CRM, loyalty, marketing analytics, retail analytics or data-driven decision support
- Proven experience using customer data to influence commercial decisions and campaign performance
- Experience building or improving dashboards, measurement frameworks and recurring analytics outputs
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and converting ambiguous business questions into structured analysis
Desirable
- Retail, loyalty, pharmacy, FMCG, eCommerce or omnichannel experience
- Leadership exposure, coaching experience or demonstrated readiness to lead an analytics function
Education
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Commerce or related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Analytics, Data Science, Business Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics or MBA advantageous.
- Certifications in SQL, Power BI, cloud analytics, data science, agile/project delivery or privacy/data governance advantageous
