Senior Accountant | Jhb CA(SA) | Alternative Investments | Fund Management An established investment management business is seeking a technically strong CA(SA) to join its finance team in a highly visible role supporting fund management, financial reporting, transaction execution, and financial modelling activities.

This is an office-based opportunity suited to a qualified CA(SA) who enjoys operating at the intersection of fund management, complex financial accounting, and commercial analysis. This is not a front-office investment role, but rather a critical finance position providing oversight and support across investment structures, funds, transactions, and reporting.

Key Areas of Exposure

  • Fund accounting and fund management activities
  • Financial modelling and maintaining investment models
  • Complex IFRS financial reporting
  • NAV calculations and investor reporting
  • Transaction and deal support
  • Treasury, tax, and compliance oversight
  • Board reporting and management information

Non-Negotiable Requirements

  • Qualified CA(SA)
  • Completed SAICA articles with strong Financial Services, Asset Management, Fund Management, Private Equity, Banking, or Investment Management clients
  • Proven financial modelling experience, including building and maintaining models
  • Strong IFRS technical accounting expertise
  • Experience within financial services, investments, fund management, or a related environment
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (Financial Modeling)
