- Completed Articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent)
- 5+ years post-articles accounting experience
- Completed BCom Accounting Degree or Accounting Diploma
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax legislation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
- Month-end and year-end reporting processes
- General ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- VAT, tax, and statutory compliance submissions
- Cash flow management and forecasting
- Budgeting and financial analysis
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors
- Assist with process improvements and financial controls
- Mentor and support junior finance team members
