Job Title: SEMI-SKILLED MECHANIC Start Date: 2026-07-16 - 2026-11-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent FM002605 Sectors: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Location: Mpumalanga , Malelane Area Salary: Brief: maintenance|mechanical Malalane area, Mpumalanga Province – South Africa: An opportunity has become available for a Semi-Skilled Mechanic who will be responsible for providing hands-on mechanical assistance in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy commercial vehicles, transport fleets, and industrial or agricultural machinery used in transport, logistics, sugarcane haulage, mill-yard operations, and farming environments. Detail: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 / Matric Technical or vocational training in Mechanics, Diesel engines and heavy equipment will be advantageous 5 years' experience in mechanical maintenance, workshop operations, or equipment servicing Previous experience servicing Loader Excavators is a must Experience in transport fleet, logistics, agricultural, sugarcane, or industrial environments preferred Exposure to trucks, trailers, heavy vehicles, or agricultural machinery will be advantageous Must have a valid driver's license Minimum Code 8 (B) Must be able to work shifts, overtime, weekends and on public holidays TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED Basic understanding of Diesel engines, Air and hydraulic brake systems, Suspension, steering, and driveline components Ability to perform routine servicing and minor repairs under supervision Knowledge of workshop tools, equipment, and maintenance practices Basic maintenance record-keeping and parts tracking DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Maintenance and Mechanical Repairs Heavy Equipment Support Workshop Support and Housekeeping Safety, Health and Compliance Documentation and Reporting ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted show more...
