Minimum 4 years experience in simialr security repair and maintenance environment
Responsible for security related equipment around the estate including electric fence, CCTV surveillance equipment, booms and automatic gates.
Manage and control security technical assistant and security general labourer
Ensure security systems and equipment are always operational, report breakdowns and non compliances - perimeter fences, all gates, cameras, energizers, generators, inverters, UPS's, lights, computers, monitors, joysticks, key boards, boom gates, turnstiles and NEPAD system
Identify any risks
Problem solving and trouble shooting
Daily check critical stocks & ensure replacement is ordered
Repairs and preventative maintenance of all security equipment
Ensure site is covered 24/7 for emergency repairs by rotating standby with Technical Assistant
Assist with training
Sound knowledge of security equipment
Must be able to attend to after hour maintenance emergencies as well as work overtime if required
Matric + relevant qualification - would suit a qualified electrician
Exposure to Gallagher, Hikvision, Avigilon, Centurion systems and analytics would be an added advantage
Good communication skills
