To assist with the installation of CCTV’s, cameras, alarms, surveillance networks across the Refineries in order to protect the assets of the company. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of CCTV, alarms and networking equipment.
- Assist with the configuration of cameras, alarms and network equipment.
- Assist with daily inspections to ensure that security systems are in good working condition.
- Establish effective working relationships with other technicians within Implats and externally to enhance communication of new technologies in the industry and market.
- Assist in deploying preventative maintenance plans strategically in accordance with faults and per requests.
- Assist in managing maintenance stock and consumables.
- Assist in downloading and uploading applicable software.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 essential.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience in CCTV, alarms and surveillance networks.
- Must have knowledge of installation, fault diagnostics and configuration of CCTV, alarms and surveillance networks.
- Basic knowledge of electricity and Indigo Vision systems.
- Sound communication- and basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Medical fit for both plants (PMR and BMR)
