- Servest Security is seeking Security Supervisor with Grade B. The role of the Security Supervisor is to protect people, supervise and monitor operations, and lead the security team. The position is based in Gauteng-South.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- PSIRA Grade B Certificate must be valid and active
- Registered with PSIRA as a security officer Supervisor level
- National Key Point Certificate
- Grade 10/11 report with minimum of 4 years' experience
- 3 Firearm competencies Business Purpose Rifle ,Shotgun & Handgun
- 3–5 years in the security industry
- 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role
- No criminal record clear fingerprint clearance from SAPS
- Armed reaction course
- Valid driver's licence
- Medical fitness certificate
- Must reside in Gauteng area
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to handle incidents, discipline staff, and report effectively.
- Good communication skills written and verbal.
- Computer literacy MS Word, Excel, Email, reporting.
- Knowledge of company SOPs, emergency procedures, and site instructions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervising all staff members on duty.
- Ensure that the site is covered at all times. Control of leave planners and attending to all personnel queries.
- Ensure that Risk Assessments & SPM's are up to date at all times.
- Manage the posting of staff members to their posts.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate all potential risks.
- Manage all risks which could negatively affect the service delivery to clients.
- Report all risks relating to service delivery to your Line Manger.
- The handling and management of daily parades and all safety.
- Ensure that all relevant documentation is available at all posts Site File.
- Inspect all fences and gates during the shift and report any deviations found Zero Energies.
- Maintain Service Provider personnel discipline.
