Oriental Legacy Security Company is seeking an experienced and professional Security Manager to lead and manage the security function at our mining operation based in Krugersdorp, Gauteng.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the overall security strategy and daily operations at the mining site.
Protect employees, contractors, visitors, assets and infrastructure.
Manage security personnel, supervisors, control room and service providers.
Implement security policies, procedures and standards.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective access control and perimeter security.
Manage security incidents, investigations and loss prevention activities.
Monitor and maintain security technology including CCTV, access control and related systems.
Liaise with SAPS, communities and other key stakeholders.
Prepare reports, analyse trends and provide recommendations.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company requirements
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid PSIRA Grade A registration.
Police competency certificate (Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle) and relevant business-purpose firearm training.
Valid Regulation 21.
A valid driver's licence is essential.
5–10 years' experience in the security industry.
At least 3–5 years' experience in a senior security management role within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
Proven track record in conducting criminal/internal investigations, asset audits and loss control (combating illicit mining, theft and metal theft).
