A well-established security company is seeking an experienced and professional Security / Guarding Manager to join our team in Gauteng.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guarding operations, personnel management, and client service delivery. We are looking for a hands-on leader with excellent operational and people-management skills who can effectively manage security teams and ensure high service standards across sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily guarding operations
- Supervise security personnel and ensure operational discipline
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and client requirements
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and disciplinary processes
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service excellence
- Assist with staff deployment, performance management, and operational planning
Desired Experience & Qualification
- PSIRA Grade A or B Registration
- Extensive experience in the security industry
- Previous security management experience is essential
- Valid South African driver’s licence
- Clean criminal record
- South African citizen
- Must be based in Gauteng or willing to travel within the region
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (well-spoken and professional)
- Strong planning, organisational, and coordination skills
- Ability to think quickly, make sound decisions, and respond effectively to operational challenges
Package & Remuneration
- Basic salary: R19,000 per month
- Cellphone allowance: R1,000 per month
- Company vehicle provided for business use under a lease-to-own structure
- Monthly vehicle contribution of R3,500 applies
- Vehicle ownership transfers to the employee after a 3-year period, subject to company policy and agreement terms
